This historic home was built in 1897, and it remained in the hands of the same family until 1995. Since then it has seen only two owners, both of whom have made renovations and restorations that were true to the home's original character.

Right Path restored the existing original windows on the ground floor, and the client opted for the mechanical refurbishment package, in which the original hardware is restored to full functionality as well as a like-new appearance.

The window frames and sashes were stripped and refinished, and all new weather stripping was installed.

As is the case with many older homes, the windows had been painted with lead paint. Right Path is an EPA certified lead-safe company and has experience applying the appropriate protection needed to avoid contaminating the client's home.
